LaGuerta believes that Miguel may have something to do with her deceased friend’s death, so she invites Miguel over for dinner simply so she can check his car for any trace of forensic evidence, though Miguel realizes this. Dexter, aware that LaGuerta may be Miguel’s next victim, plans to kill Miguel and set up the Skinner as his murderer. But how to do this when he has to prepare for his wedding and have Miguel as his best man? Debra, who has been steering clear from Anton due to her fear of not being promoted, has a discussion with Dexter about their father Harry. Debra finds out that Harry also once dated a CI leading her to investigate further into Harry’s past. Debra finds a new lead bringing her closer to the Skinner.
