Dexter decides to pursue his friendship with Miguel Prado. Miguel praises Dexter when he finds out about Dex’s vigilante ways stating that Dexter is doing what he never could. Dexter decides to show Miguel what he does, that it is not a pretty job and thinking that he will back away, although Miguel seems a little more interested than expected. Miguel is not only rooting for Dexter, but also proposes a strategy to help. A boy is found dead by the skinner and when Debra realizes it was one of her witnesses and that the boy is the second of her witnesses to have been murdered by the skinner, Debra wonders if someone is keeping an eye on her investigation. She is approached again and then threatened by Internal Affairs to cooperate on their investigation into Quinn.
